Πολιτικός διανοητής, στοχαστής της ανθρώπινης οντολογίας, φιλόσοφος, οικονομολόγος και ψυχαναλυτής, θεωρείται μια από τις σημαντικότερες μορφές της σκέψης και της φιλοσοφίας του 20ου αιώνα.
Αυτό ήταν το σπίτι του σπουδαίου φιλοσόφου Κορνήλιου Καστοριάδη. Εδώ, από το 1971 ως το 1978, ερχόταν, ησύχαζε, μελετούσε, έγραφε αλλά και διασκέδαζε με τους ντόπιους φίλους του. Σε αυτό το σπίτι φιλοξένησε πολλούς, εξίσου σπουδαίους φίλους του, όπως τον ψυχικοινωνιολόγο και καθηγητή κοινωνιολογίας, στα πανεπιστήμια του Παρισιού Nanterre και Denis Diderot, Enriquez Eugene, τον φιλόσοφο Κώστα Αξελό κ.α. Η κόρη του Enriquez, Isabell Enriquez-Pamart, έζησε από κοντά τη συγγραφή του έργου που τον καθιέρωσε, του «Η Φαντασιακή Θέσμιση της κοινωνίας» που εκδόθηκε το 1975 στο Παρίσι «L’ Intitution imaginaire de la societe» και το 1978 στην Ελλάδα.

Former Residence of Cornelius Castoriadis (1922–1997)
Political thinker, philosopher of human ontology, economist, and psychoanalyst, Cornelius Castoriadis is regarded as one of the most significant intellectual figures of the 20th century.
This was the home of the great philosopher Cornelius Castoriadis. From 1971 to 1978, he would come here to find peace, study, write, and socialize with local friends. In this house, he also hosted many other distinguished friends, such as the psycho-sociologist and sociology professor at the Universities of Paris Nanterre and Denis Diderot, Enriquez Eugene, and the philosopher Kostas Axelos, among others. Enriquez’s daughter, Isabell Enriquez-Pamart, closely witnessed the writing of Castoriadis’s seminal work, The Imaginary Institution of Society (originally published in Paris in 1975 as L’Institution imaginaire de la société), which was also published in Greece in 1978.
