Επάνω στο βράχο που ονομάζεται καστρί, είναι κτισμένος ο ναός του Τιμίου Ιωάννη του Προδρόμου, που τιμά τη μνήμη του στις 29 Αυγούστου. Το σημερινό εκκλησάκι είναι κτισμένο στη θέση του παλιού, που ήταν κτίσμα του17ου με αρχές 18ου αιώνα, ήταν μοναστήρι και διέθετε δυο κελιά. Πρόκειται για λιτό ναό, που διαθέτει απλό ξύλινο τέμπλο. Η παλιά εικόνα του τέμπλου, του 1690, βρίσκεται πλέον στη Γλώσσα στον ενοριακό ναό της Κοίμησης της Θεοτόκου.

Saint John (Kastrí)

Atop the rock known as Kastrí stands the chapel of Saint John the Forerunner, whose feast day is celebrated on August 29th. The present-day chapel was built on the site of an earlier one, originally constructed in the late 17th to early 18th century. It once functioned as a small monastery with two cells.

The church is simple and unadorned, featuring a modest wooden iconostasis. The original icon from the iconostasis, dated 1690, is now preserved in the parish church of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Glossa.
